TO all u illiterate people out there...
DOTA is the greatest GAME ever..... its actually a map i.e
a sub-game of WARCRAFT 3...
DOTA expanded as (DEFENSE OF THE ANCIENTS)
is very similar to counterstrike ..... much easier in fact...
its played as 5 v 5 or less... and is veeery addictive ...

well.... this post is dedicated to the ppl who sit in front of me in class...
affectionately called THE nerd bench.... :D (pun intended :P)
yesh.... the fun starts...
1)KARTHIK raO-- the ULTIMATE nerd.. our resident water supply frm suratkal :D..
the only prob is that girls get first preference for water :( ....
2)ABHIMAN-- the walkin talkin oxford dictionary... acts lik a loner :| .. and a star wars BUFF like me :D
3)ASHWIN kumar-- the body builder ... recently started workin out has rock hard muscles which he maintains by gymming 3 hrs a day :O.. he makes up for studyin time by carryin his text books to the loo, canteen and every othr place imaginable :D
4)aditya H BHAT :D-- the C nerd of our class... brings clove flavoured water to the class every day... and always carrys his ADA text book to lab :D
5) ANOOOOOP jain -- the semi nerd.... can switch between NERD mode and COOL mode effortlessly... BINGO expert of our class :D
6)abhilash...--) nicknamed ABBAS.. for no apparent reason.... also known as the chocolate boy of our class... he apparently has a gal in IS called shilpa :D

NMAMIT.... just the mention of the name brings shivers down my spine ........
no its not a horror movie.. its worse....!!! :|
my engg college ..which is situated in the middle of nowhere...... NMAMIT aka nitte mahalinga adyanthaya memorial institute of technology...
lameass name aint it...?
the reason i loathe this college is coz i have to travel 50 hell forsaken Kms to just reach the place..
after which i basically sleep the whole day till its time to go home...
another 50 Kms or travel back home leaves me with only 2 choices...
1.sit on the comp and waste time
2.sleep again :P
+ i have the most irritating person i know... i.e the spawn of lucifer himself...(dinemont)
as a classmate....
if any of u ppl know this irritating know it all BITCH... u would wish u were never born....
summing it all up, i`d like to say that my college life is crappy... :|
... just keep praying that it all turns around someday and that dinemont gets hit by a truck when he shows off on the road......

FRENCH fries... YUM YUM

I have failed time and again in my quest to create the perfect french fries.....
i`ve tried them in a variety of different styles...with the end result being soggy BAD tasting fries...
a few days ago... i FINALLY succeeded in making almost MCdonalds style crunchy on the outside soft on the inside fries....

lemme share the secret wit u ppl
1.cut up the potatoes in any shape desired.....
2.keep the slices in a bowl of cold water for aleast an hour or so
3.put the now dried slices in oil.... the catch is that the oil iSNT preheated......i`ve tried it don worry it works 100% :P believe me
4.now start with a low flame and gradually increase the heat whilst chkin whether the fries are done to a golden brown texture :D
5.ENjoy

DOta allstars..... this is a side dish to the main course i.e warcraft 3 the MOTHER of all RPGS`s :D
personally i`ve spent more time playing this than studyin during the last few days before CET...
in which i lucked and ended up in engineering....This has actually turned out to be a boon in disguise...
engg colleges are gamer havens :O...
my pal djd... (actual name withheld :P) aka djds4rce is my dota buddy... a die hard newb , but enthusiastic about it nonetheless :D
Our dota spot used to be Tiger Den(TD) ... a Run down cafe owned by andy..... this used to be the place where all our plans seemed to end.... you could always find die hard dota fans in this place at all times.... 12:00 midnight too..
nightgamin rocks...xD....we had loads of unforgettable moments in TD...wit my pals ....djd , joe.. shreyusmallya and yusuf ... sad part is that andy shut down TD fer good coz or credit probs with other customers....

me and djd still go to TD and reminisce bout the good old days we had in TD and the endless hours of chatting
