FRENCH fries... YUM YUM



I have failed time and again in my quest to create the perfect french fries.....
i`ve tried them in a variety of different styles...with the end result being soggy BAD tasting fries...
a few days ago... i FINALLY succeeded in making almost MCdonalds style crunchy on the outside soft on the inside fries....

lemme share the secret wit u ppl
1.cut up the potatoes in any shape desired.....
2.keep the slices in a bowl of cold water for aleast an hour or so
3.put the now dried slices in oil.... the catch is that the oil iSNT preheated......i`ve tried it don worry it works 100% :P believe me
4.now start with a low flame and gradually increase the heat whilst chkin whether the fries are done to a golden brown texture :D
